The MAG office has received a number of enquiries since the introduction of Initial Basic Training (IBT) on December 6th 2010. It appears that many people are unsure how a new first time rider now goes about learning to ride a motorcycle.
MAG Ireland has put together a new information sheet called “Getting on the Road” which sets out the basic steps required for a complete novice starting out to get to the test stage. MAG Ireland is dedicated to promoting & protecting motorcycling, and part of this remit is to provide useful factual relevant and accurate information. We hope it is of benefit to new riders.
