MAG Ireland delegation meets Gay Mitchell MEP

On Friday 28th September last a delegation from MAG Ireland met with M.E.P. Gay Mitchell (Fine Gael/European Peoples Party) at Government Buildings. The delegation explained the issues around the EU Commission proposal for extended roadworthiness testing, and presented Mr. Mitchell with a letter of protest which he will pass on to the EU Commission on behalf of MAG Ireland and the wider motorcycling community.

Mr. Mitchell, a former rider and still motorcycle enthusiast, took time to engage constructively with MAG Ireland members present, and expressed his commitment to putting our concerns to the EU Commission. Although comparatively brief, the meeting was cordial and professional.
