Easytrip: Warning to motorcyclists using express toll lanes

MAG Ireland has received the following communication from one of our members. This mailing apparently went out to all Easytrip account holders who have registered an electronic toll tag for a motorcycle. We reproduce it here for your information.

Dear ,

We are writing to inform you of the potential dangers of motorcycles using the express lanes at toll plazas around the country.

On the advice of the toll plaza operators, the express lanes are not designed for use by motorcycles and we have been asked to request that you refrain from using them when riding your motorcycle, as the barrier may not operate.

Should you require any further information, please contact us at Lo call 1890 67 67 68 from UK/N.Ireland call 0844 544 6767.

Thank you for your continued support.

Regards,
