Read MAG Ireland in Bike Buyers Guide

The July issue of Bike Buyers Guide is in the shops and MAG Ireland has been afforded the opportunity to explore some of the challenges facing riders today through a page in the magazine. Last month we took a look at what we lose out on thanks to EU road safety policies and we showed how the Ride to Work Day event aims to increase participation in biking.

This month we look at the hardest numbers of all, casualty figures. After years of steady improvement, Irish motorcycling suffered a setback in 2013 with a significant increase in casualties. We look at the context, and we explore what lessons that might be learned from an unlikely source.

It’s not all bad news of course! Elsewhere in the magazine, Roland Brown rides the new Ducati Diavel. It’s a stunner too. Then there’s the new Triumph Explorer and the press fleet gets a crack at Wales while Stephen English interviews Eugene Laverty and finds how WSB is going for the popular racer.

On the used bike front this month you’ll find the BMW R1150R and the courier’s favourite that is the Honda Bros. There’s a man who rode around the world on a GSXR thou and some fresh metal from KTM.

All for only €4.99 and available from all good newsagents now.
